Auditory sound induced responses from electrodes located at the skull vertex and laterally near labyrinth show temporally defined signals that represent the course of the auditory pathway. Wave form I is believed from the cochlea; II from the cochlear nerve; III from the cochlear nuclei; IV from the trapezoid complex; V lemniscal path and nuclei; and VI-VII inferior colliculus.
