CORD
Neuronal groups in the CORD are neuronal columns that originate in a dorsal/ ventral plan and come to lie in the same positions throughout the spinal cord and brainstem.
The sulcus limitans represents the dividing line between the motor, ventrally, and sensory, dorsally. There are two motor and two sensory columns in the cord. Motor/ sensory (Efferent or Afferent) pairs are called general somatic (GSA & GSE) and the visceral pair (GVA & GVE)
